Love Never Fails to Receive the Social Impact Award at the 12th Annual East Bay Philanthropy Awards

Love Never Fails

Love Never Fails (LNF) is a nonprofit organization that works with families and local authorities to better understand and prevent human trafficking, child slavery, and exploitation of the vulnerable. Since 2011, LNF has been committed to ending human trafficking in Alameda County through compassion, education, advocacy, policy change, services for survivors, and prosecution of offenders.

Search, Recovery, and Rescue – LNF believes that the problem cannot be solved by law enforcement alone. The support of the community is needed to restore vulnerable folks to a place of safety. For their “Project Look 4 Me” program, LNF mobilizes private investigators, off-duty law enforcement, military personnel, and justice-oriented community members as volunteers to organize searches and distribute missing person flyers.

Safe Housing – LNF provides housing for women, men and their families, girls aged 13-17, and girls aged 18-21 who are aging out of the foster care system. Through their housing programs, LNF has housed over 200 women, men, youth, and children.

Education & Resources – LNF has partnered with other organizations, including the CA Department of Education and the CA Office of the Attorney General, in the fight against human trafficking to launch a statewide prevention education initiative called PROTECT. The project’s mission is to reduce children’s vulnerability to human trafficking using a standardized, systematic, and trauma-informed education curriculum, and has educated over 600,000 people throughout 7 states.

Workforce Development – LNF provides members of the under-served and under-represented community an opportunity to compete for professional careers in sustainable industries. Their program provides immediate employment opportunities in their Community Engagement Center, which has served over 1,400 people. LNF’s program also provides access to their Career Closet for help with interview preparation and Clothing and Resource Closet for everyday needs. LNF also offers introductory workshops on basic computer use, cyber security, and entrepreneurship.

For almost 11 years LNF has been committed to protecting all youth from human trafficking with a holistic approach that addresses each survivor’s needs on their journey to safety and wholeness.
