2025 Installation Honoree | AssetMark
EBLC to honor AssetMark with East Bay Leadership Medal at the 2025 Installation Awards.
At AssetMark, investing in advisors and their clients goes hand in hand with investing in the communities they call home. For nearly 30 years, AssetMark has built its business on a foundation of trust, service, and shared success. Through deep relationships with financial advisors and the communities they serve, the company has also grown into a force for good across the East Bay and in communities across the US.
This reputation for service is what earned them the East Bay Leadership Medal at our 2025 Installation Awards.
AssetMark’s dedication to philanthropy is woven into its identity. Since its founding in 1996, AssetMark has expanded its charitable giving in step with its business growth — now serving over 10,753 financial advisors and 317,477 investor households while deepening its commitment to community impact. The company’s “Making a Difference” initiative has supported charitable efforts for over two decades, with a formal Charitable Giving Program launched in 2017.
Each year, AssetMark pledges at least one percent of its profits to organizations that uplift communities and strengthen the financial services industry. Longstanding partnerships with organizations like the Monument Crisis Center, NAMI Contra Costa and Habitat for Humanity reflect a commitment not only to giving, but to building lasting impact in our local community.
From mental health advocacy, to affordable housing to hunger relief, AssetMark’s charitable reach is broad and deeply personal. The company empowers employees to take part in meaningful service by offering paid Volunteer Time Off, matching donations, and supporting local initiatives through its “Summer of Service” program, an effort that began in the East Bay and has since expanded across all seven of the company’s offices. Even in times of uncertainty, AssetMark has remained a steady philanthropic partner, supporting causes ranging from senior services and health care access to environmental conservation and disaster response.
This wide-ranging support also extends to organizations that advance equity, civil rights, and community resilience, demonstrating a deep commitment not just to giving, but to creating long-term, systemic impact.
In 2015, AssetMark launched the Community Inspiration Award to spotlight advisors making a difference in their own neighborhoods. Each honoree receives a $10,000 grant to donate to the charity of their choice, further extending AssetMark’s impact through its advisor network.
AssetMark reminds us that leadership is not defined by position but by participation. Through consistent generosity, a spirit of service, and a commitment to shared success, they continue to elevate both the communities they serve and the industry they help shape. That is the spirit behind the East Bay Leadership Medal and why AssetMark is so deserving of this honor.
